I am Aline, the owner and photographer of Aline Stern Photography. I am a one-woman show. Sometimes I have an assistant but I will take all of your pictures. My favorite part of the job is building relationships with my clients and most of them come back to me every year. I get to capture their newborns, their first birthdays, their yearly family pictures, mom and dad\u2019s work headshots. I see these kids get older and the families grow and I love it. You are important to me.<\/p>\n<p>I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria and lived for a time in the Netherlands, where I met my midwestern husband.\u00a0 We moved to Chicago in 2008. Since then we have had two amazing kids, who (not always willingly) are my favorite little models. I knew I wanted to be a photographer when I was 13 years old and I took my first class at the local community college when I was 14. I haven\u2019t stopped learning since. It\u2019s my goal to always improve. I\u2019ve been fortunate to have classes and mentorships with some of the best photographers in America and still continue to do so whenever I get a chance. My goal is to capture the soul, true emotions and real moments.
